Some special features of teaching are a very favourable teacher-student ratio, a flexible academic programme that encourages inter-disciplinary courses and research activities, tutorials, laboratory activities and an emphasis on meaningful research.
The Examination System of the Institute at all levels is designed to test a student’s systematic progress in the classes, laboratories and field by continuous evaluation and the total ability, in place of chance performance in a single examination. For this purpose, a system of continuous internal assessment has been adopted by the Institute. Depending on the requirements of a particular course and the standard of the children, periodical tests, home assignments and tutorials are arranged. There is an examination at the end of every session. The final result in each course is determined on the basis of continuous assessment and the annual examination at the end of the session. Promotion to the higher classes is expected on the basis of high-level performance. Certificates are issued when leaving our Institute.
